I had the privilege of receiving care from Dr. Wisam Razook during my last 2 hospital stays, and I cannot speak highly enough of him. He is incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, caring, and attentive. Dr. Razook takes the time to truly listen and assess a patient’s concerns without judgment, creating a safe and respectful environment. He explains health issues clearly and thoughtfully, ensuring patients feel informed and involved in their care. In my opinion, hospitalists are the unsung heroes of medicine. When you consider the breadth of their responsibility and the number of complex cases they manage daily, the skill, compassion, and endurance required is remarkable. Dr. Razook embodies all of that and more. Under his care, I didn’t feel medicalized—I felt seen, heard, and respected. I returned home not only with a clearer understanding of my condition, but also feeling empowered, more capable, and confident in my ability to manage and improve my health.
