I suffer from a chronic pain disorder called Trigeminal Neuralgia. It is known to be the worst pain known to a human being. The first visit put me in extreme pain and I was treated like my illness was all in my head by the office staff. The doctor, Dr. Chakfe, confirmed I have Trigeminal Neuralgia and agreed with the Chief Neurosurgeon at SHANDS that diagnosed me and also performed my brain surgery. I should note, my disorder is also called the suicide disorder because many people have taken their lives due to the extreme pain. Stress, loud sounds, and harsh light are all triggers. Knowing this, they still didn't care how much pain I was in and how much of it was being caused by them. A year later, when I asked a new office manager to assist me in completing a form that would drastically improve my life, she dismissed me and refused to help. After pleading with her that I need help and providing evidence that many neurologist have completed this same documentation for other patients, she said her office could not. This is when i realized that NOT ONLY DOES THIS OFFICE HAVE HORRIBLE PROFESSIONALISM, but they DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS EITHER. Though my disorder is life threatening, they did not treat me like a person in need of medical assistance, but rather as a dollar sign. To this day, I have been messaging the office requesting copies of my medical records so that I could transfer to a different Neurologist, yet no-one wants to help me with this either. It's been months and no response. I've spent numerous hours on the phone trying to reach someone, but they will not pick up. I have messaged them through the portal and they have failed to answer. I thought medical professionals were supposed to help patients? OR send you to another professional that can? Sadly it looks to me like they are just LOOKING FOR A PAYCHECK and NOT LOOKING OUT FOR THE WELL BEING OF THEIR PATIENTS. I now understand why THEIR RATINGS ARE SO LOW. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR LIFE.

Dr. Chakfe is not the most friendliest Doctor. Didn't answer questions in a professional way. His staff is so completely unprofessional, and very rude and very know it all. They didn't even send my blood test results to my primary doctor and looked at me like...Why?? My primary doctor was so surprised that they didn't share this. Would never recommend this office to anyone!!! There are plenty of other Neurologist out there and make sure you check the reviews.

I have been a patient of Doctor Chakfe for almost a year and and I am greatly improved. Easy to talk to and I have full confidence in his treatment. His staff is friendly, professional and easy to communicate with. They called me to check on me while I was in infusion treatment. Very much appreciated. I also like the patient portal.

Dr. Chakfe is a well caring doctor. I been his patient for over 5 years and before I met him I saw 9 different neurologist. Dr. Chakfe was the only one that was able to suggest a medication that will help me with the spasticity I get after my stroke.

My mother has been seeing Dr. Chakfe for quite some time now. The doctor is not the problem, his staff is! The medical assistants are incompetent, rude and unprofessional. They have no knowledge of certain diseases.. which is fine, but if you are ignorant of certain diseases they should refrain from their opinions. They should stay in their scope of practice and practice their social skills.

First visit...I was told to be in the office at 10:15. Didn’t get out of there until almost 1:00. Second visit was few days later. Had a 10:30 appointment, at 12:30 I was still in the waiting room. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR AT ALL UNLESS YOU HAVE THE TIME!!

Dr. Chakfe was very patient listened attentively and very involve through out the entire visit, at no point did we feel rushed, the entire visit was approximately an hour long. Dr. Chafke was pleasent and was helpful with the different kinds of medicine to choose from. He answered my questions. I am happy with his service. I would recommend him, he doesnt run a bunch of test to make money. He only runs test if he deems it nescessary. Furthermore office staff Marlena and others were very nice.

This is by far the most rude, arrogant, disturbing, not to mention racist physician I have ever encountered with. He will not listen, he thinks he knows it all before you even explain your symptoms. He does not look your way while evaluating you. His facial expressions are scary makes you feel you are hated and not welcomed. There is no communication at all since he will not let you speak. He doesn't listen at all. What he says is what it is do not even try to argue. Horryfing experience. I wil

I have been seeing Dr. Chakfe for almost a year now and absolutely trust him and his staff to manage my MS. The wait can sometimes run long, but when he gets to me he spends plenty of time with me and is very knowledgeable about my disease. I love NOT being the expert!
