Dr. Yvette Westford, MD

Dr Westford was VERY personable and informative. I typically have anxiety at Dr appointments but i had NONE with her. We talked and laughed and the whole experience from the front desk greeting to the end of the appointment was great. I NEVER felt rushed, which is rare. I look forward to her as my Gyn Dr.

She was late, rude, sarcastic, unhelpful, and downright nasty...on my very first and only appointment. It is unfathomable to me that she has any patients at all. 0/10 recommend.

I was first referred to Dr. Westford in 2018 when my previous doctor retired. She has always been straight forward with me on both my issues & options. She has performed 2 required surgeries on me & both have gone perfectly. The office wait at times can be a bit long, however they have always taken good care of me. Additional testing required such as ultrasound & blood work are done in the same building, making it very convenient.

I saw Dr. Westford for the first time 08/10/21. I was actually quite excited seeing how I felt like I finally found a Black gynecologist, assuming she would look at my entire issue. Well, don't ever assume! Oh sure she took the time but she literally mostly spoke on weight. Stating how Americans are lazy and they are looking for a quick fix. The description at the bottom says weight management and nutritional supplements....LIES. Honestly I asked her for something like a nutritional guide I could possibly go by. Her response was "you should just find ways to stop eating, there is nothing I can give to you". When you have PCOS its easy to gain weight and hard to loose it! If you never had it you know nothing.

Absolute worst clinic, managment and service ever. Patricia at the front desk is so rude. I normally never write reviews but I had such a bad experience that its left me no choice but to inform others NOT go to this doctor. My insurance told me that they were a provider and in the end they didint take my insurance, charged me thousands of dollars for a 3 min appointment (i had no issue or nothing done) and now they wont respond to me and do not even answer my calls or handle the issue when they said it was their fault and they would fix it but its been months now and they just expect me to pay a bill for absolulety no reason at all. WARNING, DO NOT GO HERE.

3 minutes ago My initial interaction with Dr. Westford was average. Nothing that occurred swayed me to return or to find a new doctor. However, my follow up interaction with her has been nothing short of unpleasant. When I received my test results I was not contacted to discuss the information. It was merely uploaded in the portal with no additional communication. It didn't seem important to establish strong and open communication with new patients. It seemed as though it didn't matter whether I returned or not. My next interaction with her and her staff sealed the deal for me. Dr. Westford was willing to gamble with my health as well as those of her patients' and staff. During the Covid-19 pandemic and stay-at-home order she insisted that I come in for a non-essential exam in order to receive a refill on my prescription. Her staff relayed that she was not willing to adapt her policies during these trying times and that my safety (or anyone else's) was not a priority. I would not reco
