Worse dr. I ever saw! I only saw him once. I waited 45 min in the waiting room & 45 min in the exam room. Jokingly mentioned the long wait. He said to get used to it, that's the way it is. Then he spent the entire visit typing on his computer without much communication. His staff was very unorganized and didn't know why I was there. I found another much better doctor right away.

As many others have mentioned, he's often sitting in front of the computer talking and mumbling to himself while scrolling along, and in between asking questions. I don't like to criticize doctors, and I sense he's well meaning, but he's a bit of an odd fellow. If you want/need a physician who's kind and personable, you would do better to find someone else in my opinion. I also get the strong sense he's got too many patients.

I found Dr. Aquila to be very rude & mumbles - big waste of my time. I will not ever go back and for sure would never recommend.

I had to find a new doctor after 1.5 years because I was not getting any attention. Emails were ignored and staff failed to follow-up. My insurance company told me that the doctor failed to respond several times, so they denied my procedure twice. I was not a demanding patient, but I do have some basic ongoing needs and they seem to struggle to meet them. For example, getting routine shots, should be routine. Not at this practice. I have waited over 45 minutes. One of the other comments mentioned that he has too many patients. I don't know, but that would be my guess. Also, lack of communication is a huge issue, both in-person and electronically.

Dr. Aguila is a very professional doctor he is very knowledgeable in his profession and I highly recommend He to anyone. He is very understanding of the human body.

I've been a patient for a year. Every time I see him I talk (when he allows me to) to his back as he engages in mumbling into his laptop. My last visit after listening to him talking randomly ( he try's to be humorous and doesn't quite pull it off) I asked him why I was there and he gave me a blank look and honestly he had no clue. It was to review lap work which he had no record of and no solution. He did however tell me how busy he is with patients, phone calls to make,and labs to review (just not mine). Gulf Coast Medical Group is fabulous. Dr Aguila not quite. He is however very busy. He tells me that all the time. I just wish he knew who I was.

In my view, Dr. Aguila's clinical skills are unparalleled. His attention to detail is excellent. However, he treats an ungodly number of patients each day, often resulting in long delays for patients, sometimes as long as an hour. When asked about delays, Dr. Aguila responded by asking: "What else have you to do that's so important?"

Waiting time to see the dr once your in the office is too long in my opinion. Over 20 minutes last time.

Dr Aguilar has been my internist for several years! Despite his easy going demeanor, he is a fabulous diagnostician and very knowledgeable! I enjoy my visits to his office!

I am a patient of Dr Aguila for years! He is absolutely wonderful and I trust him 100%

I saw Dr. Aguila a handful of times, but my last visit will be just that, the last. To my reading of numbers I had logged at home on my BP machine (that he checked for accuracy prior) his response was, "Some people believe in aliens, but that doesn't make them real." He was cracking a joke and insulting me at the same time. In this same visit I asked him which of the two BP pills I should cut, and he said, "Pick one." I felt like I was not taken seriously or that I was given medical care.

I have been seeing Dr Aguila fo a couple years and as a physician I think that he is very competent. He spends time with you to make sure that when you leave all of your guestions and concerns have been addressed. About nine months ago he started bringing a scribe in to the examining room to take notes. I feel uncomfortable having a non-medical individual in the room during the visit. My wife sees Dr Aguilla and feels the same way. I also feel that the office staff needs work.
