Thorough and timely
Dr. Qin spent plenty of time getting all my health details during my annual examination. From her Q&A additional labs were ordered and a referral was put in place for a specific concern. She was very detailed in entering notes into my records (I could see them on the computer as she was typing). I have never had that level of attention and time from a Dr.

I've been disappointed in Dr. Qin. I don't trust her medical knowledge or advice. She sent me to a specialist who she said would relieve the pain caused by a Baker's cyst behind my knee by draining it. The specialist told me that those cysts are never drained because it's a buildup of fluid that isn't possible to drain. For my next appointment with Dr. Qin, she kept me waiting for 40 minutes past the appointment time. And then actually said "I don't know" when I described my medical symptoms. I'm going to find another primary.

Dr. Qin gives the outward impression of a knowledgeable and competent doctor. She "talks the talk" but doesn't walk the walk. Do not believe a word of her bio video on the Scripps site. She will NOT become the "quarterback" of your health care, she will not communicate or follow up with specialists. She appears to listen carefully to you, she says all the right things and makes specific promises, then completely abandons you.
