Ariana Barcelo, PA-C

My daughter was a patient at Chandler Regional's ER, and was briefly treated by Ariana Barcelo. She uses Envision Physician's Services to process payments. I received a bill saying my daughter wasn't covered by insurance even though my daughter gave the ER all of her insurance information and the hospital was able to bill insurance. So for a very brief ER visit, Envision says we owe $782 payable just for a PA Consult. I called Envision and spoke with a rude customer service rep. who just blamed the hospital. She was not helpful in any way. So I went on line to to add insurance info to her account. Needless to say, I had to spend 30+ minutes to correct their error. My problem with Ms Barcelo isn't her care per se, but the third party billing company, Envision Physician Services. They force patients to jump through hoops just to pay a simple bill. It seems like they just want patients to pay exorbitant amounts without question or spend significant time correcting their mistakes (or more likely, intentional attempts at defrauding patients). Third party ER Dr billing services are horrible. And until the medical professionals demand better customer service for their patients, I will continue to speak out.
