I brought my cousin( diagnosed last year with diabetes) to an appointment with Barbara. This was her 3rd appt. My cousin's symptoms of dementia are complicating the treatments of diet, medications and checking blood sugar levels. They are not happening with any consistency. Although Barbara may have been frustrated, she was patient and kind to my cousin. She treated her with respect and dignity, taking the time to help find what WILL work for her and her circumstances. I was very impressed.
