Does not listen to patients, spent years going through severe stress and anxiety to be told I should "take a vitamin" 8 years later and I finally have my life back, no thanks to Betsy. BE WARNED!

I have been a patient of Betsy's for over 15 years. She is a good listener, a thorough practitioner, sympathetic to my needs and does not hesitate to refer needed tests. She also takes time to ask about me, what's going on in my life. I have been very lucky to hsve her as my health provider.

We love betsy,have been seeing her for about 3 years now and are always pleased with her attitude and the way she communicates with us.She is very through and gets to the point.

I am actually surprised to see so many negative reviews for Betsy. I have been seeing her for six years now and has helped me through some health situations. She evaluates what I am experiencing, my blood test results, and then refers me to a specialist for each situation that may require further examination. She's always on my case about cholesterol and my stress levels. I have high blood pressure, migraines, tested positive for Lupus on one test and negative on another, plantar fasciitis, and so on. I've also been through a car accident, among other things. She is always asking me about my family, daughters, granddaughters, and has even caught me in Sams Club asking how I was doing. Her concern is real and takes the time to just talk and know you. She is direct and doesn't really pad what she's telling you much but in my case, I appreciate it. Others may not.

HORRIBLE HUMILIATING EXPERIENCE I went in to get a injury looked at. While answering all of her questions she tells me Im yelling at her!!?? I said no, this is how I talk. I am just a loud talker, She asks me another question, Im answering her and she just snaps at me, actually yelling at me! This is after I try explaining to her how my anxieties are getting too dangerous for me, I did not deserve this treatment. Nothing I was saying to her warranted her behavior towards me. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

My husband has struggled with my issues and has several specialists that prescribe him medications. He received a new medication from an ER visit that interacted with one of his regular meds. Instead of treating this new problem, she advised my husband to stop his medications completely. She never consulted with the specialist that prescribed the meds. My husband now refuses to take any medications and his health has steadily declined. He is now unable to work and is applying for disability.

I would never recommend this Nurse Practioner to anyone due to her rough edged tell it like it is no compassion for seniors. This NP scolded my father for not following her directions when she created a situation that caused psychological abuse for him. So please see the doctor and avoid her. The Dr is fine. Our family left the Doctors practice due to this NP.
