Craig Johnson, PA-C

My recent 2025 appointment with Craig (CJ) Johnson was the most unprofessional encounter I have ever had with a medical provider.He had an irritated, condescending attitude from the moment he walked into the room. He interrupted me, talked over me, and contradicted nearly every statement I made. CJ seemed annoyed that I was there to discuss the fact that I was still having foot pain after Dr. Marr had performed surgery on my foot about 2 years ago. My foot pain was actually worse after that surgery.CJ appeared to take this complaint personally and proceeded to be unpleasant and combative during the entire appointment. He had zero bedside manner or empathy and acted as if I was the one being unreasonable by insisting that I was still having pain. I had wanted to discuss other remedies that did not involve repeated steroid injections or further surgery, but his manner was so aggressively rude and disrespectful that I left the appointment early and will never go back to this office.

Craig Johnson is extremely knowledgeable and explains things thoroughly. I highly recommend him to anyone needing his expertise. He is friendly and personable as well, which put me at ease immediately.

CJ has helped me through several surgeries. This last one was a needle in foot. He is exemplary in explaining in easy terms how they would do surgery, precovery time & info on follow-up.He takes time with you & the patience he has is incredible.All I can say is you would have to go far & wide to find another PA like him......and good luck with that .

My experience has always been a five star rating regarding my aches and pains but my feet however are a whole other matter. ‘CJ’ aka: Craig C. Johnson, PA-C is the man!!! I remember the first time we met, he was a referral from both our personal friend the creat character actor Pat Hingle. That was over 10 years ago and the Hingle family still talk about CJ as one of the family. His expertise, his candor, his professionalism, his medical evaluation is without question ‘par excellence’. Seeing CJ again was indeed like family but that member of the family that knows exactly what you need to hear to help with your problems, and the direction to reach a better place. I definitely stand taller thanks to him! At least I feel taller on these dang feet! Five plus stars! Don A. King

Craig Johnson, PA-C was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He took the time to really explain both the nature of my injury and the progress that I was making.

Friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable with his knowledge of my issue and treatment plan for it. PA care is better than a surgeons, they explain more fully and listen more closely.

He did NOT explain anything very well. Being in pain as I was, he had NO IDEA what my MEDICAL issue was!

On time and took the time to explain and show me relevant information. Consulted when necessary. Good manner.

Excellent team to deal with at EmergeOrtho. Been seeing Dr. Marr, Craig Johnson and their nurse Heidi for 13 years dealing with an ankle injury. Had ankle replacement surgery June 2020. This is not a surgery to take lightly, but with their expertise and great bedside manner, I am getting through it. Always their whenever I have concerns. I've still got quite a few months of recovery left, but with them behind me every step, literally, of the way, I'm confident that I will be back living my life pain free.

I can’t say enough about this practice, Dr. Marr and his PA Craig Johnson. They helped me navigate through recent foot surgery. Extremely smooth process that was very successful. Very happy with my choice of Drs and Emerge Ortho.

Always very professional every time I have been seen for stress fractures in my foot/foot

Dr. Johnson was friendly, asked about my history and things I did, and took time to listen to my concerns rather than dismiss them like a previous physician I had (at a different practice). I finally have hope that the pain I've had for 8 months is on its way to getting better.

I have seen him three times and found him to be consistently kind, caring and knowledgeable. He explained my condition well and helped me get pain relief, even calling another physician to coordinate care for a different joint Issue impacted by my foot. Highly recommend Mr. Johnson.
