Didn't Care, Misdiagnosed Torn Ligament
Having the same problem for 10+ years, I knew the pain I was in was different, more severe, pinpointed at a different location. I thought I caused more damage. This man takes an x-ray and tells me it's patellofemoral syndrome and that I was fine, gave me some anti-inflammatories and PT. Knowing my condition was more severe and telling him previous doctors had mentioned my knee cap fraying my MCL, I tried to get him to understand the level of pain I was in and that I physically could not lift my leg laying down. His report stated NO mechanical issues. I offer previous MRIs and I get "you can send them but it won't change anything". I get to my physical therapy evaluation and the man there who was awesome, took my concerns seriously and did a thorough evaluation, said I have a TORN LIGAMENT. Almost crying from pain, being told I'm fine, to a torn ligament and being told that it's a "miracle" that my knee has not dislocated yet.

Raymond was very prompt, listened and answered my questions. He didn't recommend any unnecessary x-rays, which is always a concern. He asked if I would allow a student to observe, and I agreed. We had a very good exchange of information regarding the use of bis phosphonates and unusual fractures and he quickly explained what a fracture looks like. When he gave my injection, he sprayed it so it would not be as painful.

Ray has been giving me syn visc injections every six months since 2007! He never hurts me. He is the best! He listens and takes time to chat. It is a fast paced office but he makes sure everything is taken care of. He has a great bedside manner. I never get nervous before my appointment as I know he just does not hurt me. I feel so blessed to have him.

Perfect visit all around. He made a quick, accurate assessment that was validated by the results on my follow up visit. He was very forthcoming with information about the reason I was there.
