So bad on so many levels. She told me to discuss private matters in her group therapy when I specifically asked not to, shouted at me multiple times and at one point made fun of me for feeling socially awkward. It was damaging more than I can express.

I have been working with Debbie for four years. She is my 'go to' gal on so many topics. Her knowledge, wisdom, experience and personable approach has helped get me through many complex situations with ease and confidence. I have met many therapists over the years and no one compares to Debbie. She is also VERY EASY to talk to and doesn't judge or question the issue, just helps me to work through it and ultimately resolve it.

Lack of healthy; or any boundaries. Blurs the lines between patient care and her own needs.

Belittled me and made me feel as if my experiences were shameful. Aggressive and condescending.

There’s a certain hostility there that’s just inappropriate in a therapeutic environment, or any environment. It’s NOT ok to be made fun of during sessions or to be yelled at or to hear how her personal experiences are ... worse?... How is that helpful? I went to therapy to figure out how to not have these relationships in my life. Not to have it with the therapist!

I just had a melt down....& who was there for me? Debra! She is smart, understanding and straightforward. She gives me time to think then challenges me. She's one smart cookie who I am so happy is in my life...she helps me.

I have been working with Deb for many months...She has helped me make significant changes in my personal life that I would not be able to if I was not seeking treatment. I have been working with Deborah on and off for the last 10 years and have found her to be completely professional with kindness and insight She has helped me through some very dark times and I have never felt judged or criticized no matter wheat I shared with her. When I have referred friends and colleagues to her I have always been thanked It's refreshing to find a therapist who understands what you are going through with a clear perspective and sometimes a little laughter.

I found her to be insulting when her mood was less than “on” or her personal issues were triggered. In addition her boundaries are questionable at best. I tried for many months to work within the framework but found it worsened my outlook and self esteem in the end.

I have been seeing Deb for over a year. I've done couples therapy with my husband, individual and I am currently in a group. Going to Deb is one of the best parts of my week. We talk, laugh and hash our issues out. Deb listens and give very good ways of dealing with things. Very helpful! I was nervous about finding a therpist but she made me feel very comfortable. Easy to talk to and gives great guidance. Available for emergency appt when i had a major need. Has definately helped me grow and balance my life.

I don’t understand how anyone can rate Deborah with one star! She has been nothing but accommodating, flexible, helpful, and honestly, she saved my life. She has guided me in ways that have made my life more liveable. She has accepted appoints far out of her regular office hours, and is always available when I’m need. I have been her patient for over 10 years, and in different capacities (individual and group settings).
