Parental estrangement – advocated at this practice. Parents of teen daughters -- Beware. After just a few visits (some anxiety, 2nd year of pandemic), Liz Huber encouraged & then heavily supported, our older teen daughter, to fully estrange from her family. Ms. Huber ignored weeks of requests for family therapy consult/communication (despite daughter granting permission to discuss). Instead, a month after end of university school year, she actively supported our daughter in getting a job, moving in with brand new acquaintances, and completely estranging from parents. We had never heard of estrangement. Our daughter had a completely normal history. She was always quite close with us & her siblings, active at church, well-liked in community, won academic scholarships, gifted athlete... More than a year later - we still have no explanation of what happened, or why. We never imagined that encouraging our daughter to “get a little help” - here - would leave us with no daughter.
