Dr. Geneva Means, OD

Each time I saw Dr Means she was always very thorough, knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Her manner is always positive and caring. Dr Means always fully explains any procedures and what she is seeing as she examines my eyes. She is patient and thorough in answering any questions I had.

Very good at explaining the light adjustment process and answering my questions. Excellent at performing the procedures and reassuring during all visits.

The most of the staff at Dr. Iskander 's office are courteous and professional. Dr. Means bedside manner is lacking and condescending.

Last October, I had Lasik done (by Dr. Iskander) at San Antonio Eye Specialists. Dr Means has been my doctor for all of the followup appointments. I absolutely adore her. Beyond being an enjoyable person to be around, shes also very thorough. She was able to give me an answer to an eye allergy issue I have been dealing with for decades! I've seen countless eye doctors over the years that had no answer, or blamed it on astigmatism, but Dr Means took a moment to really listen to my symptoms and take another look. Seems I was just not using the right terms with previous Dr's. Dr Means heard me anyways. Now I have a simple over-the-counter eyedrop that has quite literally improved my vision significantly. She is newer younger doctor, but is really intelligent and easy to really be honest with. I look forward to our next followup this summer.
