I do not recommend Jennifer Austin. My family and I worked with Jennifer for about 3 years because my husband was losing his temper. Not only was Jennifer unable to intuit my husband's ADHD (for which he he is now finally receiving treatment , thank goodness), but Jennifer turned on us and misrepresented us in a report to DCF! It was shocking. Her report was not upheld, and everyone who read it understood that there was something "wrong" with the source of the report. But the experience of being interviewed by a state agency as the result of her bad report traumatized my child. Jennifer dropped us as clients immediately after with no explanation, no follow-up, no referrals for other therapy, nothing. Engaging with this person hurt my family when we were low. We would have been better off with no therapy at all.
