Joanna Jones, NP

Had a few issues to discuss in my appointment, felt most were brushed off. Took over a week to get lab results, asked questions and concerns via patient portal on some of them, never got answers. Appointment/exam seemed rushed. Past experience was very positive, but this time I was disappointed. Still waiting on some things over 2 weeks after my appt.

The following are my opinions based on my experience & recollections. I was looking for a Urologist to treat my urinary incontinence. I got it & other symptoms from Parkinson's disease. I was looking for a medical doctor. However, an acquaintance recommended Joanna Jones, who is Nurse Practitioner. At the start, a medical technician met me, took a sample of my urine, and measured my retention. I lost confidence in Nurse Jones over the course of a very short and far from complete initial medical interview she conducted. She recommended an invasive probing into my bladder with a camera. A doctor would determine subsequent treatment, if indicated, she said. We had a very short stressful discussion about that. She sent me to give a larger urine sample and have my retention measured again. I didn't get a chance to discuss anything about Parkinson’s Disease causing my urinary incontinence. She just suddenly disappeared, without any conclusion, future plans, or parting words.
