Dr. Thompson is not the most chatty and social optometrist but he is absolutely the best. I had a prescription from another optometrist that had expired and it was time to get it renewed and get an eye check. Dr. Thompson gave me a very different prescription from the one I already had, which I questioned. He explained to me that based on the tests he did after, my previous prescription had been completely wrong for me. He was absolutely right; I'm seeing clearer with his new prescription than I have in years. My old doctor, while he was kind and chatty, did me a disservice in the long run. I didn't realize that my persistent headaches and other random symptoms were related to my poor prescription, but Dr. Thompson did. He talked with me enough to actually understand the issues I was having, did a great job in the end, and improved my quality of life. I would much prefer those qualities over my old doctor's conversation and I will continue to see Dr. Thompson for that reason.

Dr Thompson was very rude, condescending with very little explanation of anything he did. He was in a rush and got aggravated when I asked questions. I do not feel confident in the prescription for contact lenses and glasses that you gave me, and he had a little time for any explanation of the changes. Horrible customer service. I do not recommend going to this doctor for your eye care
