Attentive, compassionate
Dr Louie and Dr Blivaiss worked together on my case. Dr Louie made me feel like Im the only patient he has. He took his time to listen and validate my concerns and explain things to me in a way that I felt heard, assured. This team really took good care of me from the time I came in to the ED, to all the tests I went through, my admission, the surgery, Pacu, 4North, transporters, Kitchen aides, Pa’s, Nurses, PCA’s..I felt very well taken care of and I should know because I am in the healthcare field! I highly recommend!

Patient & thorough
Dr Louie performed an inguinal hernia repair for me and I am a very pleased patient! From my initial visit with Dr Louie, he took time to review my case and discuss possible next steps. He explained everything to me in plain language, making it easy for me to understand. The day of the surgery he came to see me beforehand to review my procedure, again in a calm and simple manner. His follow up care is second to none. He checked in with me by phone and was also available to me by text if I had any questions regarding my recovery. I fully recommend Dr Louie as a general surgeon as I am very pleased with my entire experience!

I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Louie and the entire team. Dr. Louie took the time to thoroughly explain my procedure, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt confident every step of the way. I highly recommend Dr. Louie and his team to anyone looking for a skilled and caring surgeon. The whole office truly goes above and beyond for their patients. Christine and the front desk team were super helpful!

Dr Louie saved my life
Dr Louie realized when I was admitted from the ER at Mercy that my condition was critical, requiring immediate attention. Despite the fact that it was already late in the evening he insisted that surgery be done right away when others advocated waiting until morning. He won and I awoke pain free and with the knowledge that I may not have survived a delay! I was lucky to have Dr Louie that night!
