Maggie Van Abel repeatedly confused my diagnosis with one unrelated to me, in office visit, in my medical record, and when communicating over MyChart with me. When I filed a complaint and asked for a referral to a new provider, she retaliated by writing me a warning letter for advocating for appropriate treatment and accurate medical care. Maggie Van Abel is limited in sleep medicine knowledge and practice to the more common diagnoses, and is not qualified to treat lesser known and more complicated diagnoses.
