Mary Griffin, LPC

I started seeing Mary about 18 months ago. I was at a very low point in my life and she compassionately and skillfully guided me towards self acceptance and understanding. Her insights and knowledge have made such a difference for me. Mary is a wonderful listener. Her gentle, sometimes probing questions have helped me see myself and my situation much more positively. Mary has made such a difference in my life. I highly recommend her and I will always be grateful to her!

I hit the therapist jackpot in having sought out Mary for individual psychotherapy. She has been in private practice for a relatively short time, but possesses a depth of skill and talent consistent with that of a long-standing clinician. Mary is not one to solely rely on reflecting you back to yourself. Instead, she quickly identifies common themes within your issues, frankly but supportively shares her observations, and leaves you with a few ‘nuggets’ as a take-away to work through until your next session. Initially I was iffy about the identification as a Christian counselor, but have come to value this component to my therapy.
