Gaslighting Goshtasbi - No longer PCP
Asked Dr for a Xray for peace of mind about back pain that has persisted for years. He said: you won't find anything on the Xray. I said: Wouldn't that be a good thing, so that I know I can safely get adjustments other body work? He was upset that I would not agree to a PAP smear at the time of appointment. I told him I was there for back pain, not a pap smear. That made him very upset and he stormed out of the room and told me not to come back until I was willing to do as he said. This doctor is a dangerous narcissist.

For basic issues only
If you have an issue with your skin or generalized problems then he can help. If like me you require a doctor to work with you and be solution based he cannot help you. Despite the claim they can give telehealth, his staff, office manager, etc have battled refused telehealth. I have epilepsy and hypoglycemia and driving and getting to the office is a major issue for me. He knows this, yet he makes it a nightmare to converse with him over the phone. Recently he used a third party company, Advanced Diabetes Supply (ADS) to submit a prescription for a GCM. Not only did ADS lie to me, stating they had submitted a claim to my Medi-Cal insurance when they hadn't, but they in conjunction with the doctor submitted a claim knowing that it would get denied. Now my prescription was denied and I have to set up a grievance. I use a GCM to save me from having severe mental and health issues as a result of malaria. He caused me more stress and failed me as a doctor. An awful experience.

You'll wait forever.....
Since I had heard positive things about Dr Goshtabi (as far as his care is concerned) I really wanted my husband to visit him for Geriatric care. It took 4 months to even get an appointment, now after his first visit, it is taking months to get diagnostic tests and psychiatric referall for him, and he has SEVERE issues that are life threatening. Run for your life....you'll die before his office ever gets around to helping you. We're now looking for yet another physician, so save yourself the agony of visiting this guy if you need help without waiting 6 months or more for basic Primary Care services.
