I liked Melissa at first and enjoyed our interaction until I handed her my phone to show her my documented symptoms for the past month and she loudly said “wow your phone is discussing!”. I was taken back by what she said as I am a gardener and work outside. My phone case is scratched but there was absolutely no reason for her to say something like that to me. Throughout my appointment with her I received very little data on how to go about my post concussion healing and didn’t have my more complex questions answered. I also felt slightly overwhelmed by the way she chose to interact with me which felt less than professional. I left knowing nothing new other than some pain medication to pick up. I paid to see a neurologist and Instead I left feeling disrespected, disregarded, and unhelped. I would have rather saved my money than gone to this appointment I waited a month for.
