Decent Doctor - Terrible Front Desk Staff
I visited this office twice only to verify a medication I’m on isn’t softening my retinas, just a general “well”-type exam. My insurance did not change between the two visits, however when I arrived for my latest visit the front desk checked my insurance and took my standard $45 copay. 4 months later I received a $414 bill in the mail because the office no longer accepts my insurance. I spoke with the office manager, Angela who “did me a favor” by discounting the bill to $85. It’s absurd to charge the patient an additional $85 for the front office staff not correctly verifying insurance. Be prepared to be billed additional charges if the staff repeats this mistake.
