Rachel Randolph

I have been a patient with Center for Sight for 6 years. I previously saw David Hunt, OD, who was the best optometrist I have ever seen. Unfortunately, he left the practice and moved away. This year I saw Rachel Randolph, OD. She was rude and tried to upsell me on procedures and products I did not need. When I declined, she was dismissive and rushed through the rest of my appointment. She exhibited a poor attitude that can only be described as belligerent. This is the first time I have EVER written a negative review about a health care provider. Usually, I have had excellent experiences with young women doctors. In fact, I prefer to see women, because they are patient and empathetic. However, in good conscience, I had to be honest and share this poor experience.

Never again will I go to a medical office that is owned by a private equity firm. I had my cataract surgery with CENTER FOR SIGHT. It’s a factory. They set me up with one of their OD’s, Dr.Randolph and each visit was worse than the last one. The wait time is ridiculous. They are over scheduled. First two times it was at least 3 hours. The last time, I left after two hours as the Dr. Randolph wasn’t even here. They have no respect for their patients time. I will never come back here.

She was personable, relatable, caring, she did a thorough job and explained things well, and she delivers what you’d expect, and more.

Although was late getting started, all went smoothly.

I was very impressed with Dr Randolph. Our ophthalmologist retired. At this visit, Dr Randolph reviewed my medical history thoroughly. She explained the results of my eye examination. She also recommended few procedures that could help my eye problems. I’m glad Dr Randolph is my new ophthalmologist.

Unacceptable:Spent 1 1/2 hours sitting around looking at other patients who were also inconvenienced. Yes it takes some time for dialation drops to work but this was non-normal and excessive. To make matters worse, my lengthy appointment spilled over into UTC rush hour making for a nasty commute home. The staff and Dr Randolf we’re professionals but I’m going to look for a better practice.

Dr. Randolph and the entire team were positive, helpful, and personable. Dr. Randolph explained tests and results every step of the way. She was knowledgeable and provided relevant information as needed. I feel lucky to have gotten my appointment with her.

Great experience with Dr. Randolph. She was very thorough and explained things well. Very nice personality as well. Felt like she was caring and not just business. Would definitely recommend.
