Dr Garrels is a truly caring deeply empathetic therapist. I went to him after years of therapy with another provider thinking there was little left to learn. Not only has my understanding of how my mind works improved but so too have all of my relationships as well as my overall level of anxiety.

The environment that is Dr. Garrels office is unprofessional. I found it noisy and loud. I went to talk about childhood trauma and had to listen to laughing in the office next door. There was an ongoing weekly session. This happened on several occasions. When I asked Dr. Garrels regarding the noise he was not concerned. Dr. Garrels did not know the name of the doctor next door. Dr. Garrels seemed more interested in payment than care.
