Tara Tarleton, PA-C

My child had a fractured growth plate and we were referred to Ortho. Having worked with Tara's overseeing physician in the past, we requested to be seen by him again, but our appointment was with Tara. During the appointment, she showed us the x-ray and stated there was no fracture. I asked her multiple times if she was sure. She said radiologists were paid more money to look at these things than she was, but she did not see a fracture, he was fine, and required no further treatment. A week later when my child's health portal was updated, the medical notes said that the x-ray supported the previous imaging that he had a fracture and she discussed it with me and I had agreed to what she had said. This was completely false. There was no contact taken by her to say she had made a mistake. We won't be using EmergeOrtho again due to this situation and the lack of responsibility shown by her and the rest of the staff.
