I arrived at the appointment and I waited more than half an hour for the doctor. They took a long time to give me an appointment again and I left. By then my sugar had already gone down as I was waiting for 2 hours.

I don't remember the doctor's name that treated me for this retina appointment, but he was great. You should have it on record. Thanks.

My eyes have a serious problem and I need to see a cornea specialist not the resident Dr. when I made an appointment and someone called me to remind me of my appointment, I asked them to am I gonna see the cornea specialist!? They said yes but when I got there I saw the resident Dr and they said we don't have a cornea specialist today. My question is why if they don't have a specialist , they said I'm gonna see the specialist!!!! And they could not treat my eye on that day , because they didn't know what is my eye problem

Wasn't sure my vision would be just as good as before surgery. I believe nobody really has a clear answer to that. Or at least it wasn't stated to me. Only after the healing and recovery process from surgery is complete will the true answer to that be know. Yes, been impressed with all aspects regarding UCI Health. Things seem well organized. Wait times haven't been very long. Seems like facility construction is an ongoing thing in different locations affecting traffic and parking a little. Seems like lost handicap parking is making way for EV parking. Don't believe the handicap with limited mobility should be overlooked.

My regular doc, a fellow, Dr Mo Soliman, sadly left UCI. This doc gave me some info that was contradictory to what we got from Dr Soliman....Dr H said that I have cataract due to overuse of steroids...one, I have not used steroids in my last two chemo therapies, two - that's not what Dr S ever told me. I understand this is a teaching hospital and we are completely ok with it, but the attending should come in at some point. Besides, for an appointment for 0720 hrs, I went in for the basic checks and the pictures at 0745 hrs.. After which I waited, over an hour and a qtr. to be seen by a Resident.....not very efficient. I had to go over and ask, why the delay. I have been using UCI since 2108, when I got diagnosed with cancer, but of most departments, this eye hospital, seems very busy, but you as a patient are endlessly waiting, hoping you will be called in soon. I hold UCI on many fronts as an amazing hospital, barring a few departments, like when you go to do a pulmonary Function Test - they are the worst - absolutely rude staff. They thought I was being disruptive and had another nurse/assistant sit in there. wow! Sdaly I have to go back there again in a month...sp looking forward to a pleasant visit. Thanks

Excellent service but only the wait is too long my appointment was at 1040am and I finish at 1245pm 2hrs this happens on all appointment. Many thanks for the good and courtesy services

I have had this treatment in both eyes monthly for about 2 years. I have had one injection in each eye thus far here. Both times a blood vessel was broken and my eyes were red and painful for a week afterward. I wonder what is the difference other than chance.

This past visit was the worst experience since I become UCI patient because they make me wait more then 3 1/2 hours im a person who never complain about nothing but this time I have to mala an exception that's not right and by the end after every body is gun the staff asking me if I waiting for someone I said no I waiting for some doctor look at me then they bring me in I'm about to go home because I'm at ready very upset so hopefully sombady take some action in this matter ...

I've been comming here for years everything about this place is wonderful I have no complaints I'm very sad to say iwont be going here nomore cause I'm sadly moving itrust the drs the treatment 100percent love this place great place great care great help they go out of their way to help you all the time I'd recommend going here you won't be disappointed
