Should NOT be in healthcare!
She literally waved me off, told me she didn’t want to hear about my health concerns & my injury (reason I was there). She listed 4-5 options to address my injury (steroid injection, ortho referral, mri,…). I told her I was absolutely willing to do any and all of these, and expressed I did not want pain meds, I wanted a resolution and my physical abilities back. She told me she could pursue those options but wouldn’t because I wasn’t worth treating & should just learn to live with the pain. I suggested, & repeatedly pleaded for an order for physical therapy. She finally gave me this, and it was helping. However, she disagreed with the report & refused to approve further sessions. Never in my life had I heard anything so cold from a supposed healthcare provider. I’m sorry to say this impacted me deeply, and has made me hesitant to trust any provider in the future.
