A Great Help
Telehealth
Dr. Morgan was a great help in getting me through a period of increased depression and anxiety. This stemmed from being disorganized in life and work. While my initial self-diagnosis of ADHD wasn't always at the forefront of Dr. Morgan's thoughts, we were able to come up with strategies to mitigate this throughout our sessions. I was also recently diagnosed with ADHD, and while meds have been helpful, I find that keeping up with the strategies in conjunction with the meds is what really helps me. As with any talk therapy, I found that it was up to me to bring up relevant topics for discussion, and then also steer the conversation if I didn't find I was getting a great answer or to ask my question is a different way. Dr. Morgan was more than patient with me and overall he gave me some great advice. I stopped seeing him about a year and a half after I started, and I feel like I probably could have shortened that by being more on top of the outside work that was required.

Exceptional Support and Guidance
Telehealth
I had the privilege of being a regular patient of Dr. Morgan for several years, and I can confidently say that he is an exceptional psychologist. During a very tumultuous period in my life, Dr. Morgan was a steadfast source of support and guidance. He helped me navigate the emotional and legal complexities of a divorce and custody issues with my child, providing not only therapy but also invaluable insights into what to expect from family court evaluations.Dr. Morgan’s understanding and patience were evident in every session. He was always empathetic to my struggles and never rushed the process, allowing me to progress at my own pace. What truly sets him apart is his proactive approach; he recommended various resources for me to read and watch, which significantly aided my personal development outside of our sessions. He is a wonderful practitioner, and I am incredibly grateful for the positive impact he has had on my life.

Very grateful for Dr. Morgan’s Services
I went to Dr. Morgan for a few years while I was still in college (around 2016). Dr. Morgan was always very professional and his services proved to be extremely effective at treating my depression/anxiety. I’d absolutely go to Dr. Morgan again if I was still in the area.

Dr Morgan is very professional but from my experience with him, his strategies were very basic and he didn't listen to me about my personal experiences and what I felt were at the root of my anxiety and ADHD. (It didn't help that he proceeded to call me the incorrect name multiple times over the months that I saw him) He was recommended to me by my regular therapist for Cognitive behavior therapy and while he did have some good advice on how to start, it almost felt as if he forgot that he was talking to a grown adult who had mostly gotten through life masking ADHD and had been using those same skills he was trying to drill in and was too structured to look past his worksheets for flexibility and understanding.

As a Master’s Level Psychotherapist myself I found Dr. Morgan to be( in my impression) an inauthentic therapist who puts on a performance with his fancy office, expensive couches and semi-formal buttoned up attire. I sought his help after a recommendation that he might be able to help me with my long struggle with panic attacks. When I discussed my many years of using CBT, not only on myself but in treating my own clients he said “ well you really don’t know CBT until you’ve worked alongside Beck, Ellis, etc.” First of all, you never insult your clients competence if they too work in the field. Secondly, you’re a magician as Ellis was in his 90’s in the year 2000. Finally, when I asked for some of these CBT strategies that are unbeknownst to me ( so I could use them immediately)he stated he would tell me at our NEXT $185/ hour session like he was holding the cards to the universe. How about we talk about your fragile ego next time? Many better therapists out there.

I went to Dr. Morgan after for court ordered Family Therapy. My ex-wife and I have trouble communicating and do not co-parent. Dr. Morgan sides and expects all demands of Mom be meet regardless if breaks court order or if Dad disagrees. Dr. Morgan had personal sessions with my ex-wife. Dr. Morgan will not copy both parties on emails. I highly DO NOT RECOMEND Dr. Morgan to teach parents to co-parent for the best interest of their children. Cash/Check only.

Dr. Morgan clearly understood my issue, and laid out a clear plan and timeline for overcoming it. He also equipped me with the appropriate tools to manage on my own if required in the future. With his help, I made excellent progress and finished ahead of schedule. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking professional help with a personal or professional challenge.

I saw Dr. Morgan for all of 2016 because I was suffering from anxiety in connection with my care for a loved one who had depression and anxiety. I found him to be knowledgeable, insightful, caring, accessible, and incredibly patient. The tools that he taught me to address that acute problem have become the tools that I use both professionally and personally to handle any challenges that now may come my way.

Dr. Morgan has an excellent approach which is empathetic and very balanced. Throughout the therapy, Dr. Morgan remained very engaged in our discussions and with each session was able to provide me with very useful exercises I could apply on my own which helped tremendously. I first started working with Dr. Morgan approximately 5 years ago and returned late in 2016 when I began experiencing some additional struggles. I trust him implicitly.

My husband and I met with Dr. Morgan to discuss some problems we were having, the inability to communicate being our biggest issue. We saw Dr. Morgan together and separately over the course of three months. All those visits and Dr. Morgan failed to see that my husband has Asperger's. We worked with another therapist who diagnosed him immediately.
