Biography: Dr. Michelle Kraskin, Director of Audiology at Weill Cornell Medicine received her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of Stonybrook and her Masters of Science in Communications Science from Hunter College, City University of New York. Dr. Kraskin is licensed in Audiology through the New York State Department of Education and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA). She maintains membership in ASHA.Dr. Kraskin has been affiliated with New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine since 2003. Biography: Dr. Joseph Montano is Professor of Audiology at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center. He received his MA degree from New York University, his Ed.D. in Audiology from Teacher's College Columbia University, and is certified in Audiology (CCC-A) through the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA). He serves on the New York State Licensure Board and is a member of the ASHA Legislative Council.Prior to coming to Weill Cornell, Dr. Montano was an Associate Professor at Long Island University/C.W. Post, and for 17 years was Director of the Department of Communication Disorders at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital. Dr. Montano's clinical expertise is audiologic rehabilitation with particular interest in adjustment to adult onset hearing loss, hearing assistive technology systems and hearing aids. He is the current coordinator of the ASHA Special Interest Division on Aural Rehabilitation.Dr. Montano holds memberships in: ASHA, the American Academy of Audiology, Academy of Rehabilitative Audiology, American Society on Aging and the New York State Speech language and Hearing Association. He was named Fellow of the American Speech Language Hearing Association, and holds Honors of the New York State Speech Language Hearing Association( NYSSLHA). He is the recipient of the ASHA New York State Clinical Achievement Award, the NYSSLHA Distinguished Service Award, and the Nitchie Award for Adult Aural Rehabilitation from the League for the Hard of Hearing. He was also honored at the ARA Institute 2021.

Biography: Megan Kuhlmey is the Director of Cochlear Implants and Pediatric Audiology at Columbia University Medical Center and serves as Assistant Professor of Audiology. Dr. Kuhlmey received her Masters of Science Degree from Brooklyn College and her Clinical Doctorate in Audiology from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences. Dr. Kuhlmey holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. Biography: Flora Ingalls Holderbaum, Au.D., currently serves as Assistant Professor of Audiology at Columbia University Medical Center. She provides audiology services for CUMC's ColumbiaDoctors Otolaryngology locations. Dr. Holderbaum performs Complete Audiologic Evaluation of patients receiving otology care, with sub-specialty in Pediatric Audiology assessments. She also provides hearing aid services at ColumbiaDoctors Otolaryngology/Audiology practice in Riverdale, the Bronx. Dr. Holderbaum graduated from the State University of New York at Fredonia with a Bachelor of Education in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. She earned her Master of Arts in Audiology at the University of Kansas Medical Center. While at UKMC she had a fellowship in Pediatric Audiology, participating in the innovative team approach to the diagnosis of developmentally delayed children. Her Clinical Fellowship Year was spent at Bexar County Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. After moving to NYC, she later achieved her Doctor of Audiology degree through Salus University's School of Audiology. As part of the audiology staff of Health and Hospital Corporation's Bellevue Hospital, Dr. Holderbaum was instrumental in the development of Newborn Hearing Screening program at that facility. As part of the Pediatric Resource Center's Early Intervention Assessment Team, she collaborated with NYU Medical Center's Developmental Pediatricians and Child Life Specialists. In that role she provided audiologic services for children undergoing assessments for developmental delay and communicated with service coordinators and educators. At Bellevue Hospital Dr. Holderbaum became proficient in conversational Spanish and developed a multi-cultural sensitivity for counseling the institution's varied patient population. Dr. Holderbaum is committed to public health concerns as they relate to ears and hearing. Dr. Holderbaum is licensed to practice Audiology in the state of New York. She is nationally certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and is a member of the New York State Speech-Language Hearing Association and the American Academy of Audiology.
