Provider was great - less thrilled w/ office staff
(side note: I really liked my provider Jordan Becker and highly recommend her.) My insurance covers the first visit to a specialist, and after that visit charges me a $100 copay. This was my first visit of the year to any doctor, so I knew it would be free. When leaving, the woman at the desk informed me that I needed to pay the $100 copay, which I explained shouldn't be the case based on my insurance. The woman's tone seemed to indicate that I was being an inconvenience, when I was just trying to to go by what is covered by my policy. She told me I had to pay otherwise, she could get in trouble. I understand there are policies that she is simply following, but she did not even attempt to dig deeper into my insurance to make sure I didn't have to pay $100. I was able to pay half of the copay. Immediately after, I called my insurance to confirm I was incorrectly charged. Now, I need to file a claim. Additionally, the office was running late and had rescheduled my appointment.

Wow. My husband and I both took time off of work for a CO2 laser facials. CO2 laser facials have 10 days of downtime. We scheduled our appointments 5 weeks out -- coordinating time off work, planning our holiday time and life around these appointments. Less than 24 hours in advance, I received a phone call that the aesthetician was no longer with the company and we need to reschedule. I was already not happy with this short notice, but she was able to get me in the following week (which would be this week). This morning I receive another phone call that they need to reschedule again because the new aesthetician is taking the afternoon off that we have our appointments. We are trying to pay these people about $5K... I cannot believe this is how they conduct business. They have no concern for people.
