Best Doctors
I love, love Florida Eye Specialist and Eye Institute. I had a torn retina which had repaired itself a few years ago. Two previous Dr’s had failed to diagnose this in the past until Dr. Henderson saw something and sent me to the retina specialistDr. Nandesh Patel. Dr. Henderson did my cataract surgeries which were a total success! Amazing since I’ve been wearing glasses my entire life! Now just readers. I then went to Dr. Applebaum to correct my upper eyelids. He did an amazing job and my eyes are so much improved without looking overdone. The entire team is professional, wonderful in their respective specialties and give their patients their all. Highly recommend

First Impressions are Everything
They say first impressions are everything and our first time here left something to be desired. I arrived with my 2yo at 7:54a for our 8a to find the door locked. No big deal, we can wait. It was a rainy morning, particularly humid and the yard crew was there making a lot of noise. At 7:59a a receptionist comes to the door and opens it not to let us in but asked us (a man in a wheelchair, a pregnant mom and her 2yo, and a another gentleman) to move away from the door so the yard men can blow by the front door.At 8:01a she opens the door and lets us in. No greeting, no hello. It’s our first time to the office, I don’t know the protocol here so I stand there and wait. After 5 mins she points at a clip board and asks if I signed in … not sure how I would know to sign in since no one greeted us. We finally get checked in and then we wait in a waiting room that is not particular friendly for a pediatric appointment. I would go on but the comment box is not long enough to continue.
