Terrible Communication and Professionalism
After booking the initial consultation to have measurements taken prior to surgery, they sent my MIL home with a packet of information, none of which included surgery time, how to attain the necessary pre-surgery eye drops needed and other important details regarding her upcoming surgery. When I called to ask about the time of her surgery, they dismissively said 'We will call you the week of and tell you a time.' For a surgery that REQUIRES scheduled transportation, it's important patients have this information to arrange a ride. They called 2 days before and told her to be there at 6:30 AM. Because my husband and I did our own research we presume the surgery (which takes 30-60mins) would be concluded by 9AM at the latest. Day of, they confirmed this. Then, by 11AM she hasn't gone in for surgery. We have jobs and lives and to be so inconsiderate is absolutely inexcusable. They consistently seemed annoyed by any questions regarding post-surgery care. It's incredibly unprofessional.
