Care Philosophy: Everything that we do at our center, whether clinical care, research or education, is focused on helping patients. Here are some of the many reasons why patients tell us they come here - whether from the New York area, the surrounding region, or traveling from all over the country and other parts of the world in order to receive evaluation and treatment for lymphoma by our group. Patients seek treatment here because they are referred here by their physicians, who recognize our expertise and know that across the region and the country we are a "go to" place to seek the best lymphoma care. Our physicians are internationally recognized for clinical skill, research, and personal qualities. In fact, we care for a substantial number of individual physicians (or their family members) who are themselves dealing with lymphoma.

Care Philosophy: It is a privilege to take care of patients with breast cancer. Each patient is different, each breast cancer is different and treatment recommendations are tailored to the individual patient. At the Weill Cornell Breast Center, we work as a team to recommend the optimal treatment plan for each patient. We have begun a new initiative, a "survivorship" program to study and support our patients throughout their lifetime after a breast cancer diagnosis. It is exciting to be in the forefront of breast cancer research not only with our own group at the Breast Center but also as part of the exciting research going on across the nation. Every year brings advances in this field. I am very happy to be part of it!

Care Philosophy: "I am a medical oncologist with an expertise in breast cancer medicine. My focus is the multidisciplinary care and treatment of patients, especially those who have tumors that are high risk. Because I am a passionate advocate of personalized medicine, my goal is to develop new successful treatments that exploit our knowledge of the cancer genome and the immuno cell network for immunotherapy, in order to improve the outcomes of breast cancer patients. To do this, I actively participate in team science and recognize the importance of establishing strong connections with other disciplines involved in the care of patients and who are in the laboratory, as our goals are the same- to cure breast cancer. I view my patients as individuals and welcome open and inclusive communication when discussing treatment strategies as it is paramount they feel comfortable with an established treatment pathway."
