Care Philosophy: I want my treatment to include the most modern, state of the art, and personalized techniques in medicine and surgery. Care Philosophy: "Treating the patient, not just the disease" Treating a patient's spirit and dignity goes hand-in-hand with treating the illness. As physicians, we need to foster the patients' inner strength and courage to prevail the feelings of sadness and hopelessness. The drugs that are available to treat the disease are relatively standard across the country, but in treating the patient, we all have to break the mold of how we were taught and learn that the patient comes first. Integrative Medicine!

Care Philosophy: I care for my patients in two ways. First, a multidisciplinary treatment approach is essential. Treatment planning involves other specialists including breast surgeons, pathologists, radiation oncologists, as well as nurses, pharmacists, members of our research team, counselors, etc. And second, every treatment plan is individualized according to the specifics of each case and the needs of that patient. It's important that my patients are well cared and also feel well cared for.
