not good
He may be good at some things, but he needs to know which things he does well and which he should not do. My procedure (install septal plug) was something he clearly was not knowledgeable about or good at - he should have sent me elsewhere. Wrong type of button used (too thick, too firm), very rough installation, caused damage and substantial pain (placement caused inflammation, indentations into septal tissue, as well as compressing the nasopalatine nerve - causing tooth pain). After an unpleasant ego-based and empathy-lacking phone call with him, I chose a different physician who did an exam and then removed the button a week later (due to substantial septal abrasions and inflammation that was the soonest it could be done). Relief was immediate. She took photos and referred to Dr Terella's work as 'brutal' (which I already knew). He may be very good at certain types of procedures, but he certainly lacked the training & experience for a septal button.

Dr Terella did my reconstruction on a prominent part of my nose after Mohs Surgery for basal cell. He and his assistant made me comfortable (even had some nice jazz playing) and it is healing well. He took plenty of time to discuss options, involve me in the decision making process and answer questions during follow ups.

So far my Experience with Dr. Tarella has been a very professional experience. He's a soft spoken gentleman and has earned my trust. I'll be going for Rhinoplasty on the 21st of Feb and am nervous, but feel confident in Dr. Tarella's ability to perform this difficult procedure. He went in extreme detail about my surgery and what to expect. Do not hesitate schedule an appointment to visit him. I'll give an update after my procedure. Thank you!

After driving 5 1/2 hours across the state in a blinding snowstorm, and a 25-car pile up on I-25, he refused to see me because I was 30 minutes late. Nurses were so rude and could care less.

I am so grateful to Dr. Terella. I had a large melanoma removed from my face and he and his staff did everything possible to accommodate my needs and reconstruct my face. He was patient, comforting and so skilled. I will be forever indebted to him for putting my face back together.

Dr. Terella is a consumate medical professional, as well as a caring, and compassionate human being. I was referred to Dr. Terella following a case of debilitating Bells Palsy. He was my last hope to maintain my vision in my left eye. He quickly diagnosed the problem, discussed available options, and scheduled me for surgery in only 3 days! He delivered excellent results immediately, and my progress continues under his care. I am honored to know him and blessed to be treated by him
