Dr. Ahmed Abouesh, MD

My family has seen 3 different providers at this location. Our absolute favorite left the practice (for personal reason, not as a reflection of the practice). My 15 year old with significant social anxiety works with Dr. Abouesh and felt comfortable with him from the first appointment. He has a calm, warm demeanor that helps my child feel safe opening up. I suspect the practice could use additional staff at all levels but there simply are not enough psychiatrists nationwide let alone to support our community, particularly with the high need after multiple disasters. It takes a long time to get an appointment and the entire front office process is the most difficult I've ever dealt with. It's tough to pinpoint an issue because it's all just difficult, to the point of creating a burden that I can see being a barrier for many.

I have never felt that much expertise, from any other doctor I have seen for the reason I was there. For the first time since I have been dealing with getting off this med. I felt hope. Thank you Dr. Abouesh, for making me feel like there is light at the end of this tunnel, and thank you for going out and telling My Son that His Mom is going to be all right. I seen Him smile for the first time in a while. He is so kind and compassionate thank you again
