Not heard
I saw Dr Shukla for nerve damage in my foot after a severe ankle break, requiring plates and screws. He never even looked at or touched my foot and had me going for a back MRI after my visit. He stated in notes pain was radiating down leg, which I Never said because it never was. After 3 weeks his office had not even sent the order for MRI to the Imaging center. Will not be going back. Not happy with him or his office.

I've seen Dr. Shukla for over 2 years. Im in the military and have neurological issues. I'm going through a medical board process and asked Dr. Shukla to write a letter regarding the conditions he's treated me for over the last 2 years and he responded he didn't feel comfortable doing it. I sent him a template from my legal team for the letter. I just wanted him to write of conditions he's treated me for for the past 2 years and his medical opinion. I think it's ridiculous that he wouldn't. I didnt ask for anything but the truth. He wanted me to come in, however, im out of state due to a family emergency and just recently moved out of state as well. I asked if i could do telehealth appt, either video or phone because i can't come in because im in GA. He declined. I dont understand how you dont feel comfortable with a patient youve treated for over 2 year writing your medical opinion. You've written visit notes regarding my conditions. Absolutely ridiculous.

Patient and reassuring
I had an EMG and was very nervous. He assured me that I would not be uncomfortable and told me everything he was going to do before he did it. He was very reassuring throughout the test and I was able to get through it despite my anxiety. I highly recommend him!

Caustic meeting, my fault, forgot my hearing aids.
Deaf with interpreter. Blew me off when I attempted a question. Basically he’s well prepared with your history, definitely knowledgeable.Had given a thorough examination of my records. He did what I came for, a second and updated opinion. That he did. Contentious exam, as I became confused, the more it annoyed him. His diagnosis most likely correct, as I agree.

Great Neurologist.
Dr. Shukla was able to diagnose correctly and treat my seizures. His knowledge and kind bedside manner helped me to understand what was happening. Thankfully, he patiently took the time to answer my questions. He explained my options clearly and did not rush through our visit. I am grateful for his kind demeanor and expertise. Thank you Dr. Shukla!

The most wonderful Dr. I have ever gone to. My migraines are gone and I have been to other neurologist. He has a superior way to administer the medication.

This physician is very knowledgeable however not cognizant of time that patient waits in the room for him. This was an initial visit and the wait in the exam room was greater than 30 minutes. The office nurse phoned my cell and my spouse's cell phone while we were waiting in the reception area of the office to remind me of my appointment - hurry up just to wait!
