This is the 5th anniversary of my pacemaker surgery. Every day I am thinkful that Dr. Darby was assigned to take care of me. As expected, my quality of life is far greater. It is a pleasure to be able to meet with him at this annual appointment. He is quite knowledgeable about his field but he is such a pleasant and engaging person and he is exactly what every patient would hope for in their doctor.

The thoroughness, detailed explanation of options, answering of my questions, involving mr directly in the decision of treatment options, has removed any stress about our decision for course of action/treatment. It makes me very happy about developing this relationship with UVA and Dr Darby
