First time patient
Dr Vicar was very professional but compationate at the same time. He gave me a not so pleasant shot in my hand and kept me occupied until it was over. He answered all of my questions and made sure I understood what was going on. He is a very nice man, thanks for your help Dr Vicar.

I initially went to Dr. Vicar for a mass on my elbow. The first appt. went well and he scheduled me for an MRI. After the results came back we then scheduled surgery for removal. The day of surgery I was very nervous because I have never had surgery before. When they wheeled me back to the OR, Dr. Vicar was very reassuring that everything would be okay. I was very impressed with his professionalism and knowledge. I would recommend Dr. Vicar to everyone!

I was very disappointed in the care I received. He rushed through my visits, never read my occupational therapists reports, refused to do any tests to find out what went wrong during surgery he performed on me.told me rsd nothing he could do for me,told me to deal with it. 2nd opinion and 3 surgeries later, new surgeon saved my hand! Never would I send my worst enemy to Dr. Vicar!

The staff was very friendly and pleasant to work with. Dr. Vicar seemed like I was overreacting to the problem I was having. I understand that he sees these problems everyday, but when my hand isn't working properly and feels like it never will again, I don't want to be made to feel like I'm being silly or just need to get over it. Need to work on the bedside manner for sure. He told me to come back in 3 weeks if it's not working right... that won't happen. Plenty of hand surgeons in town!

Dr. Vicar is exceptionally professional with a great " bedside manner" covering any questions you might have covering the hands and wrist. He has tremdous knowledge, and readily shares this to his patients. If ever you are having problems with your hands, wrists, or fingers, I would highly recommend Dr. Vicar...I truly have experienced total mobility with my hands being under the care of Dr. Vicar at OrthoIndy.

Dr. Vicar had atrocious bedside manner. Between the foul language in front of my child to reading an old x-ray and acting like it was no big deal, he was the most unprofessional physician I've ever had to deal with.
