Invisible at my endoscopy
My initial interview was with a PA which was fine. Dr. Stein never met me before my endoscopy. I assume he did it because while I was still recovering from anesthesia he spoke with me for less than minute and then left. I had no chance to ask a question.I called to speak with him a week later to ask some questions and was not able to.

He’s a wonderful doctor. My husband, his patient, had an emergency after a banding procedure at the office that came with complications. he called the ER Head Doctor and the Gastro Surgeon immediately to let them know we were coming and was treated excellent upon our arrival. He is caring and great bedside manners!! Thanks Dr. Stein

Amazing Doctor
Don’t understand the negative reviews. He has gone above and beyond with my husband’s care. I’ve told all my friends about him and I’m due for a colonoscopy and there is no question that I will be going to him. He is old school doctor who follows up with his patients. That is rare.

Dr Stein saved my life. He found my cancer and sent me to Miami University for treatment. 10 years ago when I was being treated with interferon, that almost killed me he call me once a week for 3 months to see how I was doing. Great Doc.

The office staff is uncaring and totally incompetent and rude. You can not get answers, waited to get in three weeks sick and then they lost my stool sample after three weeks of waiting. They blamed the lab DONT answer phone messages; make you wait on hold for eternity. Don’t take any responsibility and office manager told me I wasn’t being treated badly. Also did not call in my prep to the pharmacy and had my name spelled wrong snd mixed up my appointments. All the while I was sick and still have gastrointestinal symptoms and two months with no answers . Never go here, unless you want to be mistreated.

I am very dissatisfied and sad with how this office doesn't care for it's patients. During the three months I was supposed to have a follow up visit and blood work each month. Treatment is over, I only had one lab test done after month one and have not seen the Dr for results of treatment yet. After calling several times and insisting to see the DR and have follow up tests my office visit date got pushed back because Dr not available. I was denied two times by the getting another blood work before the next visit which doesn't make sense to me. How will the Dr know how I am doing if he doesn't have progressive tests to compare how my body has been reacting to the meds? The staff member smirks at my requests and hangs up the phone. I feel that I have been alone during this treatment. This office's attitude is poor and shows lack of interest or care in its patients. They serve the patients not the other way around. STAY AWAY from this office. Find doctors who really care.

Had a reflux issue and endoscopy procedure to rule out ulcers. Prescribed GERD medication which helped me. I eventually realized my diet could be altered to completely resolve the reflux condition. I'm confident in Dr. Stein's care. I will have my colonoscopy shortly under his care as a result.

Dr. Stein and his entire staff were extremely professional and caring when I had my last colonoscopy. It's time for my next one and won't go to anyone else but Dr. Stein. As a side note, he has a great sense of humor that will help you relax.

Not a good one. Denied my mom as a parent. Didn’t even take the time to get to know her or her medical history. He claims it is unethical to see her if he want her prior GI doctor. Not a very caring doctor. His nurse practitioner Nicky was very caring.

My Doctor requested (with the referral)that I needed an emergency appointment . I stated that I needed an emergency appointment when I scheduled. Waited a week then Dr Stein office staff messed up my appointment, Doctor was not even present. What a cluster, what stress for an emergency appointment! Front line in a Doctors office are the Ambassador to the doctors. If they are incompetent, so are the Doctors. Too many around to "settle" for a quack!

Dr. Stein is a great doctor Very easy to get to know, and great bed side manners. I think it's great that a doctor will personally call you on the phone and let you know your results. I think that says a lot about who he is. Thank you so much Dr. Stein. Sincerely, Barbara Nichols. I would recommend him to everyone.
