Dr. Carl Bontempo, MD

Dr. Bon Tempo did not provide quality or accurate healthcare to my Dad. There were always discrepancies between prescriptions and office visit records resulting in multiple follow ups to get the records and dosages correct. He did not inform my Dad of any of the blockages in her arteries later resulting in two strokes and accused me of not watching my Dad's diet closely. My Dad's last visit he presented with blood pressure of 77/32 and the nurse told my Dad to take to sips of water and Dr. Bon Tempo did not address it and sent him home. The next day a different nurse called and told me if my Dad's blood pressure was below 90 to take him to the ER so to do exactly what his office failed to do was now my responsibility. Don't go to see him unless you are prepared to do all the homework, follow all the medication dosages and clarify, clarify, clarify.

My husband has been seeing Dr. Bon Tempo for over 10 years. We have no complaints whatsoever. I am an RN and usually accompany my husband to his appts. Dr. Bon Tempo always answers our questions professionally and efficiently. Our wait time is minimal. Dr. Bon Tempo never rushes us. My husband and I have alot of trust in Dr, Bon Tempo's decisions. If we could give more than 5 stars we would.

I had sudden, persistent tachycardia during pregnancy, and my ob/gyn was quite concerned. I was referred to Dr. BonTempo, who completely disregarded my symptoms. He even told me in the office that he rarely if ever sees pregnant patients, so he couldn't tell what changes were normal vs concerning. He clearly had no idea what tests to run or what changes to monitor in pregnancy with cardiac conditions. The staff were lovely and gracious, thankfully.
