Best Dr
IU West missed the fracture in my daughter’s leg. Dr Berrios knew it was a fracture just from her exam then confirmed with an X-ray. He has been above and beyond amazing with her at every visit. Highly recommend!

Terrible Follow-Up Care
Dr. Berrios did a surgical repair of my rotator cuff a year ago. I have no reason to believe the surgery was done poorly, however, I never recovered external rotation of my shoulder. I continued to have follow-up visits for seven months and Dr. Berrios could never explain why I was unable to rotate my arm. Finally, I went to different doctor at another practice to get a second opinion. The doctor ordered an MRI and informed me that the rotator cuff surgery failed. At no point did Dr. Berrios discuss this as a possibility, nor did he do any imaging after the surgery. If I had not gotten a second opinion, I would never have known the surgery failed. I cannot fathom why Dr. Berrios didn't investigate or discuss this as a possibility, and just kept sending me to physical therapy. For months I spent time and money going to physical therapy that was never going to do anything to help me get better. I'll never go to this doctor again.

The office and Dr Berrios were kind enough to squeeze us in on a Monday after an injury over the weekend. The staff was very kind from the initial scheduler to the checkout clerk. Dr. Berrios was informative and attentive with a joyful disposition. I was particularly pleased with our casting technician Krystal. She went above and beyond for my sons cast when she realized she didn't have the color she wanted. Taking that extra step for him, especially at the end of a busy day, meant the world to my mommy heart.

I saw Dr. Berrios for treatment for a torn meniscus. He took the time to show me my xrays and scans and explain what was going on with my knee. He answered all of my questions in a way that I understood and provided various treatment options. I have seen him twice since for follow up after surgery and again, he was thorough, patient, and professional. I would definitely recommend him.

My daughter has gone to Dr. Berrios for 4 years off and on because she was a gymnast and now a diver with various orthopedic issues popping up through the years. He is always right on point, knowledgable, courteous and a pleasure to visit. Would definitely recommend him.
