Left my BELOVED Drs @ John Hopkins in Maryland. Moved 2 Port Charlotte!! I went with what I Know MILLENNIUM! What a DISAPPOINTMENT! So I have been left with the TASK of finding my own Providers! And what a GREAT FIND Dr. Fernandez & his office in Cape Coral! Worth the travel. FRIENDLY GENUINE & PROFESSIONAL! Dr. Fernandez put my mind at ease the minute he walked thru the door!! Took the time to hear my HISTORY & addressed each issue.

Dr Fernandez listened to my worries and treated me accordingly.

I feel like he is motivated to find out what is wrong and find solutions. He listens, then gives good suggestions.

Thoroughly enjoy coming to see Dr Fernandez and his office. The staff is efficient, thorough and so friendly. Dr Fernandez listens and is very attentive, explaining his views in easy understanding ways. He leaves no stone unturned. Very, very good doctor.

The parking is very good. The waiting room is clean and spacious. The front desk staff Bev and Antoinette are both gems. They are very conscientious and helpful. Nina and Cyndi are very kind and knowledgeable. Dr Fernandez made me feel comfortable and gave me good advice and explained the information very well. You can tell that the staff all respect each other and work well together. I was on a waiting list for an appointment if there was a cancellation and got my appointment sooner than expected.

This was my first visit and he was wonderful. Very patient and explained everything he was going to do. The office staff especially Cyndi, were wonderful

I was lucky to get an appointment with Dr. Fernandez quickly due to a cancellation. I have been suffering with chronic pain. Dr. Fernandez gave me more than adequate time to explain my symptoms and try to understand my pain as well as an examination. He did not rush me, took time to listen and showed concern. I am optimistic that he will get me relief going forward. It was a great experience from check in to check out.

Dr.Fernandez was prompt, professional and excellent in questioning me about my concerns and issues. He was also great at explaining everything about the procedures to be done. I trust him completely. The staff was also professional and great.

This was my first office visit and I can say the best experience I have had with medical appointments. Dr Fernandez is the most caring Dr . Explains everything throughly. Answers all questions. And so knowledgeable! I feel so blessed that I have Dr Chris Fernandez as my gastroenterologist!

They want you early for your appointment but I had to wait an hour to be seen

Dr Fernandez was on-call when I first spoke to him. Prep for a procedure scheduled for the next morning we're not going well. He suggested I call the next morning while he still was call. He felt I needed more time for the prep to kick in. Although I wasn't even his patient, he offered to fit me into his surgery schedule later that afternoon, if I wanted. He listened carefully to what I said, was calming and made additional suggestions. My procedure was successful. I also received a detailed and specific diagnosis for a condition that explained my symptoms which had not been suggested by other physicians, including those at recognized research university. Dr. Fernandez is a wonderful doctor who listens. He also is a kind and generous healer. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I have been visiting gastroenterologist for almost 40 years with chronic bowel problems. When my long time gastroenterologist retired, dr. Fernandez was recommended as one of the doctors who is taking over. Dr. Fernandes is very well informed on Gastro intestinal issues. As a very well informed patient I am able to say this as a fact. He is extremely thorough, comes in, having completely reviewed my record and gives me information about my condition to make me understand things much more clearly. He is kind, respectful of his patient's concerns, and clearly has their best interest at heart. I am a complicated patient who has had to navigate a lot of my medical issues on my own, but I feel for the first time I have a plan for my care that is palatable. Thank you, Dr. Fernandez.

I knew I needed to move on after reading his notes: “Patient thinks she has ALPS (don’t know why she thinks this) or she believes it’s her treatment for RA. “ if he had actually listened to me, he’d know how I came up with that! When I saw him in Feb & he said he didn’t believe it was Gastro & I believed him & I started going thru all my records & bloodwork & I was ready to show them to him. He wasn’t interested. After 22 years of being sick, some doctors are willing to look at what you have & some aren’t. it took me 4 months to figure out I have RA. It took a Dr 15 months, w/me laying it out for him. We don’t know LONG term effects from some BIOLOGICS/TNF Blockers, just like we don’t know LONG TERM effects from COVID vaccines He said he would give me a referral to Immunologist. When I looked at paperwork when I left, it had RA on it. The office said later there wasn’t a referral.. I knew I had appts w/other specialists & they would listen & look at what I laid out. They did!

My experience was fantastic. There was only a brief wait in the lobby, the doctor was prompt, and moved his own schedule around to accommodate my need for some screening next week.

Phantastic! He took a lot of time to examine me properly and to explain the issues and possible sollutions in Lehman's terms.

From the time I was taken care of, from the office ladies, nurse, and Dr.Fernandez. I knew everyone Took their job in the best interest of their patients
