Can't make an appointment due to the fact his mailbox is FULL. Very unprofessional.

Today is 2/19/2021. I have been trying to get an appointment since 2/5/2021. My primary care faxed the referral information twice since then and have confirmation that Dr Lee has received. The staff, Penny, says it didn’t come through. I think they don’t want new patients and this is their way of not booking new patients.

Listens well. Genuinely interested in helping me. I switched doctors to go to Dr. Mitchell. I am very happy that I did. I had an incorrect diagnosis from another doctor. Dr. Mitchell got the diagnosis, spot on. He also did diagnostic tests that no one had done on me before. Highly recommend.

Very compassionate, friendly yete quiet gastro doc! Takes his TIME to LISTEN carefully to his clients! BUT, he WILL NOT INCREASE the dosage on my Prednisone, to 20 MG, even tho' he said he was WILLING and ABLE to do so! Argh! And WHY is he REFUSING me to get Humira, to get my horrendous, chronic, out of control Crohn's (have had it since age 16) under control? The Stelara shots have NOT worked for me, but he won't LISTEN to me...argh! Neither will his staff/nurses, on this frustrating issue, esp. Farrah! Also, the receptionist is not that wonderful (she's a very poor communicator and a tad unprofessional, the wait time is often TOO LONG, and the waiting room is always HOT and STUFFY, with a strange odor! And the "stool sample" instructions are like trying to read Chinese! I've been RUNNING 24/7, nonstop to my apt. bathroom toilet, with BAD, watery, runny, black diarrhea, for WEEKS, with NO RELIEF, and with the ineffective Stelara shots, and the INSUFFICIENT 10 MG of the Prednisone!

I have been a patient of Dr. Mitchel since 2012, and I came to him from a GI office that wouldn't spend more than 3 minutes in the room for each visit and was only willing to up my steroids in response to my worsening (and painful) symptoms for Crohn's. I'll be honest - I'm not sure if I've ever seen Dr. Mitchel be on schedule, but I promise you that he is worth the wait. When you are the patient in the room, you become incredibly grateful that he is willing to take as much time as needed to answer my questions and research any concerns. I have seen a great level of improvement in my Crohn's disease since being in the care of his staff. I have seen them go above and beyond for me, and I am confident they do so for each patient. I'm very grateful!

So glad to see the doctor has changed his office staff the reception desk gal dressed very unprofessional. Very mean and confrontational nurse as well.kudos to you Dr mitchell.

Despite what some others have said, Dr. Mitchell was attentive and spent a long time with me. He examined me, asked lots of questions, made thoughtful suggestions, and was very knowledgeable. He has a new staff and they were wonderful. I would rate my experience with him and his office as out standing. I have recommended him to friends.

If you like being treated with respect, like an adult, I think you should see any other gastroenterologist. Dr. Mitchel ordered a CT scan. 6 days later, no call from him or his office with results. I went to Choice Diagnostics to get report so I would know whether I had to have surgery, and they got him on the phone. He was furious, told me how busy he was and said I needed to be more patient. Even though I had every legal right to see the results, he wanted control. I will not go back.

Dr is good but office seems very disorganized, they seldom return your call and when they do is days later , the wait to see him and make appointment is too long , and they never call to remind of your appointment , a service most Dr's office provide .

Dr. Mitchel is incredible. He will call you personally on his cellphone or work phone if you have a test result he just doesn't like, and he finds a way to get down to the bottom of it fast. He truly shows compassion every visit. Great doctor, would highly recommend.

I saw Dr. Mitchel for as long as an introduction and handshake took. My experience was with Cynthia Sleppy, a nurse practitioner. The service was incredibly incompetent and rude. They do not return calls, nor fill out the correct paperwork . I suggest you find a different specialist.

Dr. Mitchel, his office staff and his surgery center staff could not have been more professional and compassionate. Everyone's bedside manners made me feel completely at ease. A procedure that makes one anxious ending up being no big deal at all.

Love Dr. Mitchell. He takes his time with you and explains everything at your appts. in detail so you can actually understand whats going on. Even noticed a condition that I had (which meant a different prep for my colonoscopy) than a previous GI Dr I had that retired several yrs ago. Talked with me in detail before and after the colonoscopy. So glad that my Endocrinologist recommended him. My only minor complaint is...getting the staff to call you back if it's not an emergency situation.

Was in for a follow up from the hospital, what a great experience, Dr. Mitchel and his staff were wonderful and caring to my every concern. Would highly recommend.

I first encountered Dr. Mitchel while I was in the hospital for an orthopedic surgery. A serious complication developed which was not recognized or otherwise diagnosed by hospital staff. Dr. Mitchel was consulted and literally saved me from further life-changing issues.

I was at the hospital with an emergent GI problem and Dr. Mitchel was assigned to me as I did not have a GI doctor. I found him to be a compassionate physician who took the time to explain everything that was going to happen to me with, I must say it again, compassion and an in words I could understand. He put me at ease. I continue to see Dr. Mitchel and highly recommend him to my family and friends and anyone looking for an excellent GI physician.

Dr. Mitchel is great because he spends plenty of time with you, and answers all your questions and concerns. I'm pretty excited about finally finding a good G.I doctor around here that cares.
