My 68yr old mother fell at the bottom of our steep driveway and had a compound fracture on her wrist. Went to Cumberland hospital ER and they called in Dr. Barton and he was awesome. He explained everything and jumped into action and 6.5 hrs later and 1 plate and 8 screws were on our way to get coffee at McDonald's drivetru and home he we professional, friendly, funny. I would definitely see him and recommend him to any and every one

Two carpal tunnel surgeries=two great results!
Dr. Barton is sincere in wanting to help you with your health issues. He is not arrogant, a complete gentleman, professional and welcomes your comments and questions. His knowledge, skill and patience are great. I was so pleased with the results of my right-hand surgery, there was no doubt who I was going to be using for my left hand, when it acted up several years later.

When taking my daughter to see Dr. Barton's office for a surgery consult, Dr. Barton commented on my daughter's legs in a way that I thought was very inappropriate. I tried not to make a big deal out of it but my daughter mentioned it to me when we left that she felt very uncomfortable with how he was staring at her. We will not be coming back

Highly skilled, knowledgeable, thorough surgeon
Dr. Barton did my reverse shoulder replacement May, 2020. He explained every detail of procedure and what to expect post-op. I had no pain post-op, regained full range of motion, healed with no visible scar! His after care during follow ups is fantastic. (P.S. The lady rating him 1 star and accusing him of inappropriate comments examining her back, either has him confused with someone else or IS A LIAR! Also, he doesn't do back surgery!!). Dr. Barton is a fantastic surgeon and perfect gentleman.

My wife fell on the ice and fractured her wrist. Got an appointment with Dr. Barton and he did surgery the next day. This doctor is one of the most professional men I have ever run across. He was very good at explaining how the surgery needed to be done and very precise on what he would have to do and what to expect. I would definitely recommend this doctor.

I saw Dr. Barton for trigger finger and he was very professional, as well as patient and knowledgeable in explaining my options. He administered a cortisone shot to alleviate my discomfort, while giving me time to decide of a more invasive solution would be needed. Thankfully, the shot worked well. I highly recommended Dr. Barton.

I've know Dr Barton his complete life. He is a gentleman as well as a very simple physician. I've seen him professionally as well as personally. The "lady" before me mentioned about him examining her back, that's funny as well as refutable, he does not have any dealings with back patients, his staff would have seen to that! You Ma'am are seriously MISTAKEN!

The staff at his office was great but I found Dr. Barton to be very controlling in his opinion. Not only that, but I felt somewhat uncomfortable when he started feeling around my lower back and asked me if I liked it. Not if it "hurt," but if I "liked it." My daughter and I will never go back to see this dr again
