Doctor visit schedule
I took the schedule to see Doctor from last 2 month, they give me November 10, 2022 at 12:40 PM. I must take time off whole day for this appointment. But today, I came the office at 12:00 PM, they tell me Doctor can not see me and must change the schedule. I can not believe that, I see Dr. Kunimoto 2012 (over 10 years and 2 times surgery) this is the first time broken my schedule with no notice. May be I say bye bye with this office (Phoenix Biltmore 1101 E. Missouri Ave. PHX AX 85014) because I don't want to waste time. Friendly recommend Doctor Kunimoto to look schedule of patient and if can not handle, please give the notice for avoid waste time.

I went to Dr K for several years. The cattle car process in his office is not pleasant. He pushes the maxium patients through in one day. One time they got off sequence and the numbing agent wore off before I go the injection in the eye. It sounded like he was using my condition for an experiment when he berated me for scheduling appts too far apart. The timing would mess with his "study". I changed to DR Adelberg. No more injections in the eye. Eye drops ar improving my vision.

I took my dad to see dr Kunimoto because his eye was bothering him. We sat in the office over 2 hours then he was taken to finally see the dr. Dr Kunimoto spent less than 5 minutes with him and told him there was nothing wrong. He gave no alternatives or resources or even a suggestion. I was very disappointed with the service. I took my dad to see a Ophthalmologist for new glasses and he was diagnosed with glaucoma. How did Dr Kunimoto miss this? I’m appalled and will never use or recommend Retinal specialists or this so called dr again.

The wait time was what I expected. After taken back to the procedures, it was very efficient and went quickly. Dr. Kunimoto was very efficient and after the exam, he communicated his results in a easy to understand manner. Quite happy with my exam.

Dr. Kunimoto is a true expert in his field, He was referred by a close friend, he is approachable, listened to me, asked a lot of questions and made sure he understood the full scope of the problems before proceeding. He is a very caring doctor who knowing I was anxious and devastated at the thought of losing sight in one eye made sure I was involved in every step of the process and always asked how I was feeling

Dr. Kunimoto is a great doctor. I would never switch doctors. I have tried other doctors with terrifying results. Dr. Kunimoto is so patient and understanding. I hate the 2-3 hour wait time but I don’t want to lose Dr. Kunimoto.

I take my 85-y-o mother to appts & go in with her to help her understand & remember--this review is from these visits. Kunimoto is very knowledgeable, but the practice & office leaves much to be desired. If you like to spend a lot of time sitting in waiting rooms, see this doctor. Read other comments --common experience. Total visit 3 hours & over 2.5 spent in waiting rooms. She wasn't even called back until an hour past her appt time, and there were no more seats. Disrespectful of patients.

Dr. Kunimoto saved my eyesight. Originally he saw me on a Sunday, having been referred to by the Emergency room for a detached retina. I see him annually. His practice takes him to several locations throughout the Phoenix area and the state of Arizona. I can go to any location that fits my time schedule, and have! I would wait, no matter how long, or how far behind his schedule gets, I will always wait, because I know he is helping someone with an emergency.

I believe Dr. Kunimoto excels in his field and communicates well with his patients; but when the patients are expected to wait two to three hours for each appointment, that is disrespectful of the patient. Problems outside of appointments seem to be referred out.
