Amazing Doctor. I had a massive left knee injury, a broken patella plus other issues. The broken knee Dr. Bachner did surgery on is now stronger and feels better than then my right knee the one that did not break. He did fantastic work on short notice. Dr Bachner is an expert and he is fantastic. I did not think I would be able to play soccer again but now I can because he fixed my left knee perfectly. -Daniel

Cookie cutter doctor, had no answers to any of my questions and concerns and didn’t seem well knowledgeable. Comes across as someone who doesn’t care.

Went to see him during the Pandemic as I broke my 5th metartarsal bone in my foot. After 6 weeks in a cast, we took it off to X-ray and it downhill after that with non-union of the break. He should of referred me to a foot surgeon specialist at 2 month mark. After 4 months, I went for a 2nd opinion to real Orthopedic foot surgeon and I finally had surgery to have a pin put in and a bone graft. Due to his large ego, I did not receive the right patient care. His staff was rude and inept. His assistant was rude and the office charged me for a Handicap form and for filling out disability form. Due to his neglect, I am still not healed.

This is not about Dr. Bachner, but about his office, particularly the medical assistant who fills prescriptions. This assistant is inefficient at best and rude on top of that. I went to the office to personally request the refill yesterday, after waiting a week for them to send the permission to the pharmacy. The office sent this assistant a message. This morning when she arrived she called back saying that since my last appointment with Dr. Bachner was 6 months ago she can't fill the refill request. I explained that Dr. Bachner referred me to a surgeon at the same office and that is the next step, she hanged up on me.

Over the last 5 or so years I have seen Dr. Bachner for several different problems: hand, ankle, hip, etc. Yeah, I'm fallilng apart. All I can say is: He is GREAT. I've recommended him to people who needed to get into see someone immediately...and the office has always been able to accommodate. He also is NOT quick to do surgery-he will investigate and try other methods before recommending surgery.

Dr Bachner is amazing! He is excellent at what he does, kind, smart, professional the whole package. My ACL repair went just like he said it would, even exceeded my high expectations. I highly recommend him and his team. Just get it done! I'm so glad that I chose Dr. Bachner! Now I'm back on track and getting better every single day!

DR. BACHNER HAS OPERATED ON BOTH OF MY KNEES, SEPARATELY, WITH WONDERFUL RESULTS. I HAD TERRIBLE PAIN DUE TO A TORN MENISCUS AND BOTH SURGERIES WERE VERY SUCCESSFUL AND ALLEVIATED MY PAIN. I FOUND DR. BACHNER AND HIS STAFF, FRIENDLY, EFFICIENT AND VERY THOROUGH. A FABULOUS OFFICE STAFF AND MY CALLS WERE ALWAYS RETURNED IN A TIMELY MANNER. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND DR. BACHNER AND THIS OFFICE TO ANYONE NEEDING HIS SERVICES.

Dr Bacher in a pompous way misdiagnosed my daughter. He was a 2nd opinion who told me her diagnosis of Discoid Lateral Meniscus by another Orthopedist was wrong. He said PT would fix her. She ultimately had a knee transplant under different care. He was so wrong and arrogant and I would warn anyone not to see him. Thankfully my instincts told me to see 3rd opinion who confirmed her diagnosis. Do not go under his care. He is so rude and has no idea what he's doing. Worse doctor ever!

Dr Bachner is a highly skilled Orthopaedic surgeon. He performed arthroscopic knee surgery on me and I could not be more satisfied. I am a local physician and I could have chosen from many different orthopedic surgeons but I chose Dr Bachner because of his professionalism, his stellar surgical skill and great bedside manner. I highly recommend Dr. Bachner for all general orthopedic problems.

I saw Evan Bachner twice and both times was mis-diagnosed. The first time I went because I dislocated my right knee playing soccer. He didn't provide a knee brace or crutches (or even sent me to pick them up somewhere else), even after I asked. The second time, I had a grade 3 (fully torn ligament) separated collarbone, and Dr. Bachner said it would heal on it's own. The ER I went to before seeing Dr. Bachner, and a second orthopedic I saw after both confirmed I needed surgery.

Whatever happened to doctors who go through years of medical school because they care about humanity? He epitomizes the lesser reasons for this career choice (i.e. status, greed etc). He comes off arrogant, terse and uses shaming to get his point across, his main point being, " just do as I say!" He prescribed 2 different NSAID's, and his failure to even vaguely listen to me on 2 occasions explaining they were irritating my stomach, has lead to gastric ulcers! Find someone who loves his job!

I respect his experience and training. But my experience with Dr. Bachner was that he was terse, short tempered, impatient, pompous, dismissive of my concerns, and had zero respect for myself and my medical knowledge, as a board certified Veterinary Surgeon. Anatomy is anatomy, after all. I was looking forward to meeting a surgeon or like mindedness, and instead encountered prejudice and dismissal. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

Dr. Bachner is a professional. He did a knee surgery on me and I was very impressed with his professionalism. He explained everything to me in a way that I could understand. His staff is just as excellent as he is. I was very happy with the outcome. I wish there were more drs. out there like him. I would recommend him to anyone that needed an orthopedic surgeon. Thanks so much for fixing me.

I did not find him to be caring and he had an attitude which made me disgusted. To put it mildly he is in love with himself. I will not go back to him again. I didn't feel he was really interested in my problem. Just a hurried up visit after waiting to see hi for a hour.
