Dr. Gita Kalantari, MD

Dr. Kalantari was my primary doctor at Kaiser almost 2 decades ago. She was an exceptionally great diagnostician back then, I can't imagine how lucky her patients are to have them as her doctor. Unfortunately for me, she left Kaiser and went to practice privately. She was thoughtful, caring, and quite intuitive.

In January I was a 256 pound 23 old woman who is miserable and February Dr. Kalantari prescribed me Wegovy. I have lost 113 pounds. She changed my life. Thank you.

She ignored that I kept asking to be tested for SIBo and ended up with serious endometriosis and she never listened to me as I kept showing up to appointments begging her to help me get to the bottom of my severe weakness and total debilitating condition . She kept just doing the regular basic tests and never found my underlying condition and Sibo now I can’t have children. Thanks for not helping g me and telling me to stop coming to see you and to you somewhere else while I was dying ! You risked my life and never have me an option to get tested for Sibo even if I had to pay for it . You are the reason why now I can’t have kids ! You ignored my cry at all my visits since 2016 ! Literally I lost my period and she kept sending me to Drs that found nothing . Dr . Kalantari you ruined my life , my ability to be a mother and my ability to get married now ! I hope somehow God helps me . You need to wake up and do right by these women . If you know you can’t help or don’t want to than don’

Dr. Kalantari is a competent doctor who makes her patients feel heard and cared for. I've been seeing her for a few months, and she's always been attentive and thorough. It's easy to trust her and her easy-going manners make office visits positive. She's also flexible and holds virtual appointments. I feel fortunate to have found her!

Dr. Gita Kalantari has been my primary care physician for years. She is what I consider to be the gold standard. Dr. Kalantari has been such a wonderful blessing. She is funny, friendly, fun but more importantly thorough. Although Dr. Kalantari is aware that I am a Nurse, she always explains her rationale for her suggested medical interventions, from prescriptions to required labs and or medical procedures. She explains medications, etc as if I am not a Nurse,she always meets the standard of care in my professional and personal opinion. Dr. Kalantari is an active listener who takes her patients care and concerns very seriously, she crosses her t’s and dots her i’s so that her patient’s needs are met and that you leave with the sense that your doctor cares about your overall health and well being. If you want a doctor who truly cares about you, Dr. Kalantari would be a wise choice to consider.

Dr. Kalantari is a very compassionate and knowledgeable doctor. She always answers all the questions I have, very efficient and caring at the same time.
