Dr. Rao attended my mother during her hospitalization in July 2020. It was not an easy hospital stay as she had terminal illness. Dr. Rao was very attentive and went out of her way to arrage for hospice. She took time to explain to my mother and me the prognosis and what to expect in the next phase. I am very grateful that she went beyond her duties as a physician to make sure that my mother was taken care of by hospice. Her diagonosis was very accurate as my mother passed away not too long after. It wasn't for Dr. Rao to take her time to work our family through the challenges that we faced, my mother would have not had her last days with dignity, comfort, and peace. This doctor was competent and compassionate in her role as the internist.
