Dr. Jacobo Lama, MD

It was unacceptable. He's been my Dr for quite awhile and mostly no major problem. Unfortunately I have COPD and developed a severe infection in my lungs. Dr Lama as was not in the office so I saw he coworker. She was great did a good exam. She decided to change my medication and gave me a sample that only lasted a few days. She wanted to see me back in 10 day to see how I'm doing. The new medication was working so this where my major problem started. After calling the phone center and requesting a call, three days later I was told I couldn't go back to the doctor who change my medication as I was a patient of Dr Lama and he needs to see me before he could write the prescription. My insurance pays to whatever doctor. Since Dr Lama has gone corporate it appear his patients aren't Not important.

My husband and I are extremely pleased with Dr. Lama and his staff. We get appointments easily and quickly. They are on top of everything! Highly recommend.

Doctor Lama and his staff are very unprofessional my father who has Alzheimer's Dr. Lama refuse to treat my dad because I had taken him to the hospital and he felt that we did not get along based on the fact that he disapproved of me taking him to the hospital he told me to leave the building and began to flick his finger and use the foul language which was caught on video because he has cameras even my father who has Alzheimer's kindly asked him to take care of him and he refused and said you can go somewhere else later on we had to place my dad in a nursing home and in two different occasions refuse to fill out the form to get him put into a nursing home his staff was also backing him up without even knowing what had taken place I am totally appalled by how him and his staff treat family and patient they do not take patients life seriously prior to that incident I had called several time so he would prescribe and he refused.

Never refill my prescription on time. Always a hustle. Need to call 1,000 times plus they make ppl wait over one hour an a half to get to see a doc. Terrible office

En realidad me encanta esta oficina, desde que uno entra siente el carino de las personas que trabajan ahi. Siempre estan dispuestas a colaborar con lo que uno necesita y mas. Es verdad que ultimamente han habido varios cambios, pero aun estan las mejores. Estos dias visite la oficina y estaba un senor Diego a quien vi super interesado en ayudar a todos los pacientes, que calidad de persona! Ojala lo conserven en la oficina. Los doctores son espectaculares. siempre los recomendare.

First of all I would not recommend this office to anyone. Phones ring off the hook and no one answer when I do get on hold on someone I get put on hold for toooo long. And never come back so i have to hang up and call back then i get put back on hold. I called back and asked for Office administrator and the girl said she is not available. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE if the patient is dying matter of well DIE because the only care for the money and not for the patient's health. RUDE STAFF, RUDE EMPLOYE

I love this doctor. Very professional and care for his patients. I would recommend him to everyone. Also staff very professional.

Horrible doctor does not care about a patients well being. Will not refer you to a specialist and guesses what he thinks the patient may have!

Dr. Lama is exceptional. Staff on the other hand, are not!

Overall great doctor. The staff and appointment scheduling is what brings this amazing doctor office's overall rating down.
